The LAUNCH LTR-05 is a programmable universal TPMS sensor designed to replace compatible original-equipment (OE) tyre pressure sensors on a wide range of vehicles.

Each sensor combines 315MHz and 433MHz frequencies, allowing one sensor type to cover a broad range of TPMS applications. LAUNCH states that its universal TPMS sensors provide coverage of approximately 98% of TPMS-equipped vehicles, making the LTR-05 a practical solution for workshops and tyre service professionals.

Important – Programming Required

These sensors are programmable and are not “fit and drive” sensors.

After installation, the sensors must be programmed and/or matched to the vehicle using compatible TPMS programming equipment. Vehicle compatibility and the required relearn procedure depend on the vehicle manufacturer and model.

Wide Vehicle Coverage

The LTR-05 supports both 315MHz and 433MHz TPMS systems and is designed as a universal aftermarket replacement for a large range of OE sensors.

LAUNCH states that its universal TPMS sensors can replace more than 95% of compatible OE sensors, with approximately 98% vehicle coverage across supported TPMS applications.

Reliable TPMS Monitoring

The sensor uses automotive-grade electronics to provide accurate tyre-pressure data to the vehicle’s TPMS system. The pressure measurement accuracy is specified at approximately 0.1 bar, while the integrated battery is designed for around 5 years or more of service life, depending on operating conditions.
